Join us for a virtual presentation by local author, historian and researcher Patti Giglio for a fascinating program entitled "Beneath Our Feet They Lie.” We learn about the inhabitants of the former poorhouse, penitentiary and asylum that were located in Highland Park South and look into the lives of some of the people who were buried there in the 19th century and the rediscovery of their coffins in the 20th century during a major park renovation. “The Remember Garden,” sponsored by DePaul, commemorates these men, women and children.
