Bring your binoculars and walk the park with Connie Kellog and Geof Gretton of the Mendon Foundation Birding Group. Learn to see and hear birds that either live in, or are migrating through, the park. Last year the group spotted and identified: bluejay, brown creeper, cormorant, crow, downy woodpecker, goldfinch, grackle, hairy woodpecker, house finch, junco, mourning dove, red-bellied woodpecker, red-breasted nuthatch, robin, song sparrow, tufted titmouse, turkey vulture, white-breasted nuthatch and yellow-bellied sapsucker.
