Investigate the Landscape Architecture of Highland Park

On this walking tour of Highland Park led by landscape architect and HPC President JoAnn Beck, participants will learn how Frederick Law Olmsted used the existing topography of the Pinnacle Range, a glacial moraine, to emphasize the plant materials and park elements incorporated into Highland Park's design. Start your evening in the park with JoAnn; finish with Shakespeare in the Bowl, presented by the Rochester Community Players. NOTE: tour includes walking on hilly terrain off of paved pathways.
