JoAnn Beck

JoAnn Beck is a Landscape Architect, with 35 years of professional experience in public, private and academic practice. As Senior Landscape Architect with the City of Rochester, she administered the design of public projects, including Martin Luther King Memorial Park at Manhattan Square, the El Camino Trail, Lower Falls Park and the Genesee Riverway Trail at Turning Point Park. As a volunteer, she serves on the Board of Trustees and the Preservation Issues Committee of the Landmark Society of Western New York and as the Chair of its Olmsted Parks Sub-Committee. She resides on historic Seneca Parkway and serves on the Board of the Maplewood Association. She has been President of the Highland Park Conservancy since 2015.
